A Best Friend

I want a best friend
who has the back bone of a tiger,

The trust of a teddy
who won’t betray you,
The loyalty of a tree
who will protect it’s roots
and friends.

I want a best friend
who has the kindness
of an angel,
Who won’t lie
like a truth teller.

I want a best friend
who won’t leave my side
who I will trust forever.
