I talk to my hyper black Labrador, she is old but fast. Her ears don’t work though she hears, she has rusty eyes, though she sees.
I pet her soft grey and black fur. She doesn’t like to be called him but rather her. My brain tells me she is not going to live long but my heart tells me she is going to be here forever.
I tell her about my favourite things like biking, football and rugby. I tell her about my day and she wags her tail when she sees me. I tell her that she has been in my life since the day she was born.
I tell her about her beautiful name. I tell her to have fun before the end.
That’s my wonderful bundle of joy Cara, the best dog ever.
