I Am a Dog

I want to be a dog not a statue,

not a wall

I want to be a dog so I can jump the fence and run

I want to be a dog  to sleep  out all the time

not being woken up early in the morning

I want to be a playful Terrier who splashes in the river on walks

not angry, on  my phone, in my room.

Don’t ask me to do my homework,

dogs  don’t  do maths

Don’t ask me to be quiet ,

I will do what I want

I’m  a furry, playful  dog and you will admire me my whole life.
