Our class had great fun playing, ‘The Furniture Game’ today. Someone chose a famous character and the rest of the class would try to guess the character described using a set of metaphors. It was great fun for a rainy Tuesday morning.Â
Afterwards we all chose someone who we have strong feelings for. Some of us chose our pets, some of us chose friends while others a grandparent, movie character or even a special soft toy.
These poems are full of evocative metaphors and similes. We hope you enjoy reading them.
