The Furniture Game

Our class had great fun playing the furniture game today. Someone chose a famous character and the rest of the class would try to describe the character using a set of clever metaphors. It got very exciting and quite loud.

Afterwards we all chose someone who we have strong feelings for. Some of us chose our pets, some of us chose friends while others a brother, sister or parent.

These poems are full of evocative metaphors and similes. We hope you enjoy reading them.
