I want to be an anime character,
and have the courage of one of them.
I want to become an anime character
who can fight and stick up for people.

I want to be an anime character
who can speak up
who isn’t always shy
and doesn’t always over think.

Don’t ask me to read my poem aloud,
don’t ask me to answer your question,
don’t ask me to go outside.

Because I’m going to be an anime character,
And no one can stop me!
