Aquaman
When I was little, I worried about swimming.
As the infamous ‘deep end’ drew closer, I swam to the side and cling on the side.
Though I tried, the infinite depths of the ‘deep end’.
But one day, I the safe calm waters of the ‘shallow end’, I saw a glint at the bottom. I dived down and saw it was a trident, and I picked it up.
Suddenly I swam easier, and got an overwhelming urge, to go to the abyss of the deep end.
It wasn’t that bad afterall, and now, I see a boy clinging to the side of the pool, and tell him, the trident is at the shallow end.

I like when you say to your younger self the trident is at the shallow end
I like the line when you said you were not afraid of the deep end well done
The description was really good and it was smart when u told your younger self that when you swam to the deep end that the trident was in the shallow.
