Sunny Seashore

Primary 3 have been taking advantage of the good weather and learning outside. We have been using chalk to draw the setting of ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch’ as part of our topic. We created presentations about what we had drawn and shared these with the class.

Here is some of our artwork:

Literacy Showcase

On Thursday the 24th March parents were invited in to see our work on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Across the 3 classrooms there were lots of different examples of literacy work for example; sound poems using onomatopoeia, character descriptions, biographies, fact files along with The Invention Room and examples from French language. Thank you for coming and we hope you enjoyed looking at your child’s work.

Active Every Day

Everyone in P2/3 and P3 (including the teachers) are trying to walk, jog or run a mile. The children are enjoying the challenge and are increasing their fitness levels.

Starting next term we will start to log how far we have travelled! Check the blog regularly for updates.

Judo

Thursday 25th February

All P2/3 and P3 pupils were treated to a taster session from ‘Tayside Judo Club’. The children practised different types of holds and throws wearing the supplied Judo outfits. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and some children have joined the local club which takes place on a Wednesday from 4-6:5pm in the campus.
