During Scottish week we looked at different towns and cities in Scotland and plotted them on maps using co-ordinates. We learned about Sir Alexander Fleming, the Scot who has saved millions of people discovering penicillin. We looked at different Scottish castles and learned how to copy and paste pictures. We carried on with our Scottish Dancing. We also made Scottish flags from collage.
We had a lovely morning with the P4/5 class. They read us stories they had written about their castle topic. Then they did our reading with us and then read us a story as well!
The whole class found out fantastic information about different minibeasts when the children produced super projects and presented these to the class.
After each talk the class gave their peers feedback about the project and how they presented their talk.
We wanted everyone to use a loud, clear voice, try to make eye contact, to face the audience and to show and talk about their pictures.
Thank you to all parents who helped with these projects. Hope you learned fascinating facts like I did!
