This entailed us having to paint an egg for the head and decorating it with wool or felt for hair/hat. We then had to saw wood (25cm long) for the body and then covering it with material. (Thank you Mrs Gillies for the help!) We also had to attach another smaller piece of wood for an arm.
During Scottish week we looked at different towns and cities in Scotland and plotted them on maps using co-ordinates. We learned about Sir Alexander Fleming, the Scot who has saved millions of people discovering penicillin.We looked at different Scottish castles and learned how to copy and paste pictures.We carried on with our Scottish Dancing. We also made Scottish flags from collage.Our display of our Scottish activities
We had a great time toady when the Barrow Band came and visited to us!We learned all about different fruit and veg. We were treated to songs and sang along with some.We also made pictures of different fruits to out on their barrow.In the afternoon we watched the whole show and we joined in and performed in one of their songs about Kiwi fruit. Enjoy the photos!!
We have also made different Christmas decorations.
We made paper angels, paper chains with paper stampers and also snowflakes stuck on recycled aluminum plates. Our classroom is looking very Christmasy now!
