Dr Herron’s Visit
Dr Herron came to our class and taught us all about her job as a GP!
We got to listen to our hearts and also look in each other’s ears. She taught all about the equipment she uses in her day as a doctor.
Hope you enjoy the pictures and a big thank you to Dr Herron for coming along to our class.
Things Look Promising!
We dug up Pot B today and yes there were potatoes- 29 small ones in total!
The plant was measured at 28cm. Hopefully we should have a good patch when we dig up are main bag just before term ends!
Mrs MacDonald’s Visit
We had a fantastic time when Mrs MacDonald (Elaine) came to visit us!
She taught us so much about being a nurse in A&E and brought lots of items for us to see and try out!
Thank you very much Mrs Macdonald. Hope everyone enjoys the pictures.
Maths Games
The Sound of Music
We sang our little hearts out today at the Perth Concert Hall. We learnt the songs of the Sound of Music then had lunch at the Inch.
In the afternoon we watched a short performance by the Expressive Arts specialists and joined in with all the songs.
Well done all the girls who came in beautiful dresses and Noah in his Lederhosen!
Creative Day of Dance
We had great fun performing our dance in front of lots of schools and our parents.
After a little shaky start, probably due to nerves being first on, we got into the swing of things and ended with a spectacular ending!
Well done P2/3!
Thanks to our parent helpers- Mrs Herron, Mrs Bickerton and Mrs Chalamanda!
Climbing Wall
P2/3 had great time learning the skills to use the climbing wall.
You can move like a crab or like an Egyptian.
Everybody gave it a go, but Eleanor you were super!
Measuring
We have been learning all about measurung. We have done length, weight and volume.
We have all had chances to weigh with weights or cubes, measure with rulers, metre sticks, straws and measure liquid with litres, cups and spoons.
P2/3 have also enjoyed playing with weights and measuring with water, if they have had any choosing time.
