In the Forest
This week in the forest, P1/2 looked for signs of Autumn, learned the names of different leaves, made Autumn art pictures and had healthy snacks.
They used the kellie kettles again to make hot juice to warm themselves up!

Numeracy games
Here are a few games that you can play to help with Numeracy and Telling the Time.
Number Work
The children were working with Tens and Units and some were working with Hundreds too. P1s were counting elephants and making some patterns too.
P2 Numeracy

P1 Phonics
P1 are doing great learning their phonics!
Soft Play
The children have enjoyed learning about the Olympics through play. They know this as Soft Play and this takes place first thing in the morning.
The children have been dressing up as athletes, making diving pools and bicycles with construction materials, playing Olympic games on the Wii, having swimming races and sailing races in the water tray and playing different games such as jigsaw and Trumps to do with the Olympics too.
They are all learning the skill of working with others.
