Today we were joined by Greenloaning Primary School and had a great Scottish Celebration!
We were entertained by songs, dances, Scottish poetry and violin and guitar playing.
Last week each class selected three class winners in their Scottish poetry competition.
All of the winners went forward today to select one winner and then the winner of the Bobby Muir cup.
A big thank you to Fiona Keillar, Fiona Watson, Mike Boxer and Harry McLelland for judging the competition.
This was then followed by teas and coffees. Thank you to all who helped.
At lunch time, Nursery parents joined us for dinner with haggis on the menu!
P6/7 entered the William Souter Literacy Competition.
All the children had to write a story 500 words long!
Two children from this class have been selected to go through to the final.
Congratulations to the two boys who won and all the other children who took part in this competition.
This week’s Golden Achievers!
Braco Primary School has now got its first Eco Green flag!
Congratulations to the Eco Committee, Mrs Ross and all the other boys and girls (and parents) who helped the school achieve its first Green flag.
What an afternoon we had!
The children had a great time dancing, playing games and to top it all off, SANTA CAME!!
Thank you to the Pupil Council who helped to arrange it.
On Wednesday, we had a wonderful Christmas lunch!
We also said goodbye to Mr Kerr.
On Thursday the 11th. December, we held our Christmas Nativity in Braco Hall followed by our Craft Fair.
