At Eday Community School we approach learning through a pupil-led inquiry based approach. This means that children learn about a variety of subjects through their focused topic choice.  Because this learning involves a number of different subjects, such as geography, history, science technology and literacy and numeracy,  this type of learning is called Interdisciplinary Learning (IDL).

UNDER THE SEA & PIRATES

We’ve written adverts for hiring candidates to our very own pirate crews, made top trumps for under the sea creatures, created our own mythical island worlds, and even written fantasy stories about them.
