Eday Minecraft
For a past 2 months children were working in a collaboration with Katy Firth from North Isles Landscape Partnership Scheme and Adam – The Wizard on recreating Eday in the Minecraft world. Check out the video below to see how they brought this project to life! :)
Science Festival Trip
We had a fantastic day in Kirkwall, learning about comets and space. The children particularly enjoyed the space quilt that was created for the event. They even decided to create their own when they got back to school the later in the week.

Bag the Bruck
Bag the Bruck is back in Orkney! This year the school participated in the local event, helping to clean our beautiful beach. We had some help from community members and even Pepe, the dog, was trying to help!

Maths Dice Challenges for the Middle School
Our P2-4 children were absolute stars working collaboratively using dice beginning to understand the foundations of multiplication. Some of the boys and girls even managed to extend their own learning independently to move onto double digit multiplication sums!
