Today we had lots of fun in the learning zone. Our skill we’ve been working on this week is ‘team work’.
There was lots of teamwork at the construction area making an impressive scooter and a seat.
Making a hat with the junk modelling.
Playing in the spooky Halloween house!
This afternoon we did some more work on our topic ‘Different Religions Around the World’.
We watched a video on Christianity and took a virtual tour of a church.
We then looked at different symbols of Christianity and listened to some hymns.
Afterwards we drew different things associated with Christianity.
Welcome back after the October break – I hope you all had a lovely week off.

Happy holidays everyone – I hope you all have a lovely October break.
We have been using our new sounds to make words with our magnetic letters this week.
We went out an autumn walk to find different signs of autumn.
We noticed the leaves had changed colour and lots had fallen off the trees.
We each picked our favourite autumn leaf and brought it inside to copy.
We collaged autumn leaves for Percys Hut in the learning zone. We used orange, yellow, red and brown.
P1/2 will be singing at 10:30am on Friday at our Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The photographer will be visiting the school this Thursday (10th October ) to take individual and family photographs.
Although this is a gym day can children please come to school in full school uniform.
Thank you.
