At the start of p1/2 (back in August) we made pictures out of one black dot. The children asked if we could do it again….9 months later! Here are the results……we all agreed our drawings and writing have come on so much.

This week is ‘Mental Health Week’. We took part in the Mental Health Assembly this morning with Mr Green.

In the afternoon we spoke about how to look after our mental health and gave each other advice on things we can do if we are worried or feeling down.

We read ‘The Huge Bag of Worries’.

Today we practised our talking and listening skills during Circle Time. We went outside and used the logs up at the pitch to sit on.

This afternoon we played some fun games on the iPad to practise our literacy and numeracy skills. There were lots of high scores!

This afternoon Miss Murray’s mum came in with a lamb for us to see. It had only been born this morning!

We all loved it and enjoyed telling Miss Murray’s mum all the things we have learned about sheep.

Today we had great fun playing with the parachute!

We did our reading outside again today and played some mental maths games in the sun!

Today we made the most of the lovely weather and read our books outside.

Because we won the ‘Easter Quiz’, we got to go along to the hall this afternoon with popcorn and juice to watch a movie 🍿 🎥. It was a great day!
