Yesterday at assembly p1/2 won the ‘Cool Class Cup’. We got a trophy and a relaxing DVD afternoon as our special treat.
We took a vote and chose to watch ‘Ice Age’.
Out topic this term is all about comparing how life in Scotland was different in the past to how it is now e.g. toys, houses, school etc.

This afternoon we made jungle animals to display in our jungle themed learning zone.
Some of us made pandas, some of us made lions and others collaged parrots. Miss Murray was very impressed with our creative skills and our cutting skills.
This clever boy made a snake all by himself in the learning zone. He mixed the paint together to make different colours for his snake skin.
Yesterday everyone got their log-in details for ‘Sumdog ‘ . This is a great way to practise your reading , spelling and maths through different games.
You can play it online or there is a Sumdog app you can download.
I put a card with your child’s log-in details inside their homework folder.

What a brilliant time we had at our Christmas party! Lots of games, dancing and Santa even dropped by to give us all a present. A great day.
We had a great day wearing our Christmas jumpers and having a tasty Christmas lunch.
Thank you for all the donations to the food bank.
Can all children in Primary 1 and Primary 2 please remember to wear black/dark trousers or leggings to school on Friday for the Nativity. School trousers or jeans will be absolutely fine. Children will be given a t-shirt to wear on stage.
