This week is Anti-Bullying Week. In class we talked about bullying and what we would do if we saw someone being bullied or if we felt like we were being bullied.
We all agreed that bullying is not acceptable or nice.
Here are our odd socks to show our support for being different and as a stand against bullying.
We had a great day celebrating Children in Need today.
We made Pudsey pictures, went on a Pudsey hunt and did some Pudsey exercises.

During our free time at the end of the day this creative boy made his very own Rudolph picture – complete with magic yellow dust from Santa’s sleigh. We love it!
Today we learned all about a Remembrance Day and had a 2minutes silence at 11am.
In the afternoon we made picture using poppies.
On Friday p1/2 were using Venn Diagrams as part of their maths topic…
Yesterday we learned all about Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night.
We then used the different resources to make our own firework pictures. We liked using the different coloured chalks on the black paper.
Well done everyone for another great week in p1/2.
In the morning we worked hard in maths. We ordered numbers and found the number ‘before’. We know that ‘before’ means the same as ‘one less’ and we have to count backwards.
Some of the p2’s answered comprehension questions about their reading book.
Sone of us got to practise our reading and blending on the new iPads.
We used the ‘sound spinner’ on the board to practise our handwriting. Whatever letter the spinner landed on we had to write down neatly on our whiteboards.
Today we have worked so hard.
Some of us worked on the number ‘before’ whilst some of us played some maths games on our new class iPads.
After breaktime, the p1’s worked on the sound ‘z’ and the p2’s worked on the ‘ay’ phoneme in their jotter.
Lots of super work!
After P.E. Miss Murray let us make up our own games with the equipment. We used our imaginations and played nicely together.
