For p1 and p2’s:
Unfortunately, due to guidelines, I am unable to send reading books home at the moment. Instead, we are using ‘Bug Club’ in class which can also be accessed online at home.
I have allocated a book for your child which reflects their reading level. Please read the book as often as you can. Encourage your child to sound out words they are unsure of and look at the illustrations to help them.
To access Bug Club please use your active learn login which you were given today on a card.
Along with their Bug Club login, I also gave the children their Sumdog login details. Sumdog is a fantastic website which allows children to practise their maths skills through different games.

See you all tomorrow.
Monday ✏️📒⭐️
Friday 📒🌟
Today the p1’s used special gems to make sets to 5 – we thought they looked like rain drops falling from the clouds.
In maths the p2’s learned about odd and even numbers.
This special boy has written 2 books! We read them in class and thought they were fantastic. What a super author and illustrator he is!
Wednesday ✏️🌟📝
Today in p1/2 the p1’s learned all about the sound ‘t’. Can you find any t’s at home?
Our p2’s worked on their consonant blends.
In the afternoon we finished our Gruffalo pictures. We read the book again and listened carefully at Julia Donaldsons description of the Gruffalo so we knew what our Gruffalos had to look like.
