p1/2 worked hard this week. We spent this afternoon setting goals for our work next week. I was really impressed with the goals that the children set for themselves.
Next Friday is Red Nose Day – children can come to school wearing something red and, if they would like to, have crazy hair too!
We changed our class charter tree into a Spring tree today. The children came up with all the ideas of what we could do to make it look like Spring. Didnβt they do a BRILLIANT job? We are very proud of it!
We are just continuing with reading books for homework this week – I have allocated everyone a book on Bug Club. f you can, please try and read some pages of your book every night.
Today we celebrated World Book Day. We told the class about our favourite books and then did a quiz online to test our knowledge of childrenβs books. We designed a front cover for our very own book – they were BRILLIANT and Miss Murray said she would definitely pick them in the library to read.
Today we told each other stories about a time when we hurt ourselves. We included details of where, what, when and who in our stories. Miss Murray was SO proud of us. Our stories were AMAZING with lots and lots of detail. We planned our stories today and drew a picture of them. Tomorrow we will write our story in our jotter.
Please spend some time at home this week reading the book I have allocated you on your Active Learn account. If you try and read a little bit of the book everyday then you will become more fluent by Friday!
