Your child came home with a letter about this years Christmas Lunch. Can you please fill in the slip at the bottom and hand it back into school by this Friday (27th November).
P1’s and P2’s are entitled to a free school meal so the ‘Christmas Lunch’ will be at no extra cost.
A few people have asked me about handing in Christmas cards – unfortunately this isn’t going to be allowed this year. BUT we spoke about it in class and have decided we will make Christmas cards and decorations in class and use them to decorate the classroom.
In the afternoon we LOVED practising our drawing using ‘how to draw’ on YouTube. We concentrated so hard and were SO PROUD with how our drawings turned out.
Today we made a ‘kindness heart’ as part of Anti Bullying Week. We spoke about kind things that we do for others and how it makes us feel when someone is kind to us.
Today we had a mental maths challenge: if p1/2 got all the answers right they got to go outside for an extra play in the sun. Well done everyone on super maths!
This week is Anti-Bullying Week. In class we talked about bullying and what we would do if we saw someone being bullied or if we felt like we were being bullied.
We all agreed that bullying is not acceptable or nice.
Here are our odd socks to show our support for being different and as a stand against bullying.
