Today we went along to the hall and did some yoga – we really enjoyed it!

We are going to do yoga every Monday from 11am to 12pm.

I hope everyone has a lovely October Break. You should be so proud of how hard p1/2 have worked this term and the progress they have made.

Enjoy the well deserved break everyone and I will see you all on Monday 19th.

Please remember we have P.E. on Monday when we come back – children should wear suitable outdoor shoes and come to school wearing leggings/jogging bottoms.

Today this special girl brought us in a letter from Police Scotland. We were all very excited! We have loved learning about the Emergency Services this week.

Police Scotland gave us all a pen too – we will get them after the October break ✒️.

This week we have been learning all about our fantastic Emergency Services.

Yesterday we pretended to be suspects and took our finger prints!

We also made our very own police officers.

We learned some more things about Autumn. Then we made autumn trees using paint for the leaves and brown paper for the tree trunk and branches. We mixed red and yellow paint together to make orange paint for the leaves.

Today your child came home with their login details for Microsoft Teams as well as a jotter for them to write down any written homework.

I will post homework on Teams every Monday to be done over the course of the week.

I will upload a separate Word document for p1 and p2 homework – if the p2 homework is a bit tricky for your child then they can try the p1 homework.

When your child has done their homework please take a picture and upload it onto Microsoft Teams for me to have a look at it and see how you got on.

Thank you for your ongoing support, the children are making great progress in class and are all working so hard. 

Very well done to this clever girl for writing and illustrating her very own book , ‘The Goat who was Late’ 📚📝. We loved reading it in class.

In class we have been learning about the seasons and spotting different signs of autumn. We collected autumn leaves and used them in our pictures. We were so pleased with them!
