Addition Tuesday
Today we are going to be learning about doubles and near doubles e.g. if we know that 3+3 = 6 then we can use this to work out that 3+4=7 (it is a near double – you just add one more) .

Make up your own doubles, or near doubles, with bigger numbers eg. 20 + 20 = 40 so 21 + 20 = 41.
