We had a great time after school yesterday at the Hallowe’en Party 🎃🍂.
Well done for all the fantastic costumes.
Today we had a Halloween afternoon and made witches with different shapes during maths.
Then we made up our own witches brew. Miss Murray was SO impressed with our rhyming spells we made up.
Your child came home with a letter for Parents Evening. Please complete the tear off slip and return it by Thursday. I look forward to seeing you all then.
Thank you.

This afternoon we had an autumn art afternoon. We discussed different signs of autumn and sang autumn songs.
We mixed different coloured paints together to make brown and orange. We then used our colours to make autumn trees.
Afterwards we used autumn leaves we found to create hedgehogs.
The Halloween Disco will take place in the school on Wednesday 30th October from 4:30pm to 6pm.
Tickets are £2 and this includes a hot dog, sweet and drink.
If you have any questions please just ask.
Today we had lots of fun in the learning zone. Our skill we’ve been working on this week is ‘team work’.
There was lots of teamwork at the construction area making an impressive scooter and a seat.
Making a hat with the junk modelling.
Playing in the spooky Halloween house!
This afternoon we did some more work on our topic ‘Different Religions Around the World’.
We watched a video on Christianity and took a virtual tour of a church.
We then looked at different symbols of Christianity and listened to some hymns.
Afterwards we drew different things associated with Christianity.

Happy holidays everyone – I hope you all have a lovely October break.
We have been using our new sounds to make words with our magnetic letters this week.
We went out an autumn walk to find different signs of autumn.
We noticed the leaves had changed colour and lots had fallen off the trees.
We each picked our favourite autumn leaf and brought it inside to copy.
We collaged autumn leaves for Percys Hut in the learning zone. We used orange, yellow, red and brown.
