I cannot believe it’s the last day in p1/2 today. Thank you all for a brilliant year – I have loved being your teacher this year and am SO proud of you all. What a lovely bunch of children!

Today’s treat was a fun water fight! Mr Green joined us outside!

Yesterday’s treat was a yummy slush!! We also got to eat our potatoes that we grew. A very tasty day!

Today our ‘burst into summer’ treat was an outdoor disco! We had lots of fun showing off our dance moves!

Today’s ‘burst into summer’ event was ‘Soak the Teacher’. The children got the chance to throw a wet sponge at Mr Green, Miss Ferguson and Mrs Thomson!

A reminder that children can wear non-uniform all next week!

Today at Assembly we found about our exciting ‘count down to summer’ events! Each morning, starting from today, a balloon will be burst and inside there is a special activity for us all to take part in. A balloon will be popped each day from now until next Thursday.

We had our ‘cinema’ activity in the hall today. We got popcorn, juice and a sweetie.

Today we got to watch Scotland play their first game in the Euros. We made some Scotland posters and designed our own football strips.

We have been doing lots of work on money over the last few weeks. Today we wrote all about what we would do if we won the lottery!
