Today during ICT, we focused on the different types of work the emergency services do to help us. As part of Developing Our Young Work Force, the whole school is focusing on the emergency services. We enjoyed giving feedback to the class on new facts that we learned about the roles of the police: fire brigade: ambulance and coastguard. 👮♂️ 🔥 🚑
During Maths, we have been developing our place value skills. We had fun matching 3 and 4 digit pictures, words and numbers to their pairs as today’s plenary. Our new challenge on ‘Number of the Day’ is to change numbers to words and ordinals. 1️⃣7️⃣8️⃣3️⃣
Well done to last night’s homework stars who completed Sumdog for 20 minutes and reading for 20 minutes. Remember you do not need to take photos of this as I can check pupil activity. I am looking forward to reading your research. 👍🏼 🌟
