Primary 4 are thoroughly enjoying our basketball coach being in with us on Wednesday’s PE time. This week our focus has been travelling with the ball and goal shooting.

Spelling
Primary 4 are learning to use a variety of spelling strategies to improve their spelling and accurate recall of words.
SUMDOG MATHS SCOTLAND CONTEST STARTS TOMORROW!
Take part in the Sumdog Maths Scotland Contest from Friday 27th September – Thursday 3rd October.
To take part in a Sumdog contest, pupils simply play Sumdog’s online maths games, any time during the contest week.
It’s free to enter, fun and engaging, fair and adaptive with prizes to be won!
Big Reading
In chapter 3 and 4 where George begins to make the magic medicine for Grandma, he works his way around the house using his rule ‘Whatever it is; runny, powdery or gooey, in it goes.’ Today we sorted all of the ingredients into the correct category and each group carried out some interesting discussions.
Reminder
Primary 4 are looking for any extra clear plastic bottles that you may have to help us out for STEM week. We understand that everyone is trying to ‘reduce plastic pollution’ and not everyone may have these.
If you do, please hand in to Mrs Maher or Primary 4 on Tuesday for house points.
Thank you!
Have a lovely long weekend everyone and I will see you all feeling refreshed back at school on Tuesday.
Mrs Maher 🙂
