Primary 4/5 designed an interactive 3D word on Kodu Game Lab and programmed a character to move around.

Today we enjoyed participating in our activity groups for Comic Relief’s ‘RED NOSE DAY’ by wearing red and having crazy hair. Everyone took part in improving their fitness through dance and enjoyed creating/ following a dance routine.

We focused on Article 24 – the Right to a clean, safe environment and Article 29 – the Right to develop our talents and abilities.

Today we celebrated ‘World Book Day’ by dressing up as our favourite book character or in our PJ’s with our story book. We have enjoyed a fabulously fun day full of activities based on the theme of Harry Potter. Everyone enjoyed making wands, taking part in a quiz, creating a Polyjuice potion, designed a crest and a house scarf and made a 3D origami bookmark.

Well done to all the wonderful Wizards and Witches for their hard work today!

Today we enjoyed our Eco-Day activity groups,  our Gardening group had a focus on respecting:

• Article 28: Our right to a good quality education – we listened well, followed careful instructions and took part in a variety of roles within activities.
• Article 29: Protecting our environment – we practised looking after the grounds of our school while developing our talents and abilities in the outdoors.
