P7 enjoyed our yoga session today in the hall.

Today, P7 enjoyed our whole school virtual assembly. We then worked with our partners to find rhyming words, patterns, figurative language and repetition in narrative poems.

This afternoon we created our own art pieces after yesterday’s learning about the Great Barrier Reef. The pupils decided their chosen features & art materials. Miss Park & Mrs Dickson were super proud of how fabulous everyone’s is looking 🌟 👍

After a hard working day from P7; completing their subtraction work, literacy which involved our group novels and learning about our natural wonder of the world the Great Barrier Reef 🐠 🐬; we concentrated on our listening skills playing Squeak 👂.

It is great to have all the boys and girls back after their October week!
This morning, we had our first session of yoga in the hall. We loved learning the new poses.

P7 has fun during PE today outside. We created our Emergency Services display for our good work wall 👮‍♂️ 👮‍♀️ 🚨 🔥 👨‍🚒 🚑.

P7 were learning about the Police this afternoon. We discussed scenarios where you would phone 999 and when you would contact your local Police station to report something. We discussed the difference between laws and rules. We also looked at the various roles within the Police Force.

P7 were  practising recording their resting pulse rate and their active pulse rate. We discussed scenarios which would be an EMERGENCY and we should phone 999 and which would be seeking medical support and phone 111. We learned about the situations an ambulance would attend and the different roles within the emergency services.

Today, we started our topic for the week; Emergency Services 🚨. We spoke about the importance of knowing our address and ordered ourselves smallest door number to largest door number, without speaking but using our communication skills.

Today, P7 took part in PE. We played games which focussed on using our Communication skills, mainly listening, looking, body language and speaking clearly and loudly.

I have also attached a video of our Northern Lights art and poems as I am so very very proud of everyone’s efforts 🌟 👏.
