Wonderful Class and a Wonderful Week

David Livingstone and Victorian Games

We loved playing Victorian games and focussed to master the skills to play them. We needed a growth mindset, agility and coordination.

David Livingstone was an extraordinary man who achieved many things in his lifetime.

A note from the teacher

THANK YOU very much for all of the kind wishes and gifts your children gave me. I was touched by your thoughtfulness and generosity.

I would like to wish all of you a happy, relaxing and safe holiday. It has been a wonderful opportunity working with all 32 children in the class and getting to know them. I’ve seen a huge range of skills and talents and lots of dedication.

The children have made a positive and lasting impression on me and I will really miss being their teacher however I now that they are well positioned to do very well in P7, their last year at Whitelees.

Good luck in P7!  I’ll look forward to seeing you when we get back in August and hearing all of your news.

The children joined P5/6 and met other classes during their walk around Abronhill to launch Beat the Street.  They’ve been given a fob each to scan at scan points on the way to and from school. Each time the children scan the fob they will earn points for themselves and Team Whitelees. This will be a fun way for all to walk to school and keep active.
