Peer Mediation

Primary 7 Bay 18 are now certified Peer Mediators!

Mr. Greisl and Miss Weir from the Inclusion Support Base delivered a training session to our class this week to train us in Peer Mediation.  Mediation is when two pupils need support with a problem in the playground and a mediator helps them sort it out and reach a solution.

Peer Mediation is a lot of hard work and it took three days for us to complete the training.  We had to learn about feelings, listening and the skills that are involved inbeing a successful mediator.

Have a look at us during the training course.

Bay 18 – please leave a comment to evaluate Peer Mediation.  What did you learn?  What did you enjoy?  What are yor opinions of peer mediation?
