Easter Eggs

Thanks to everyone who came to our Easter Service this morning.

After the service some of the Parent Council members took on the role of the Easter Bunny.  Every year the Parent Council provide a sweet treat for the children at Easter time and this year with thanks to Tesco for helping, the children all got an easter egg.

Here are some of the pupils with their easter egg and some members of the parent council

GO TEAM TANNOCHSIDE – 13 miles still to go!

Kilt Walk is on Sunday 12th April.

Kilbowie

The Primary 7s have arrived home from Kilbowie. They have had a fantastic time although I think they will need all weekend to recover to be ready for school on Monday.

Comic Relief

Well done to all the pupils and their families for helping us raise £740 for Comic Relief. A fantastic amount.

The school had a dressed down day and collected £654.

The Nursery pupils all dressed up, including the staff! They had their face painted and had a great time raising £86.

Thanks to P2b and Mrs McDonald for selling the red noses this week.

Comic Relief

Just a reminder that Tannochside will be participating in Red Nose Day on Friday 13th March.

It will be a Dress Down Day on Friday and we would appreciate a donation of £1 to go to Comic Relief.

The Nursery are going to have a Dress Up Day on Friday rather than a dress down! Again £1 donation would be greatly appreciated for Comic Relief.

Mrs McDonald and Primary 2b are also selling red noses this week at school for anyone who wishes to buy one.

NLC Reading Competition

Well done to Erin Blevins, Lara Cheeseman, Olivia Clark and Erin Gilbert.
The girls took part in a reading competition today at Bellshill Cultural Centre and came 2nd. They will now be in the final.
The girls had to read two books, Harry Potter and War Horse before the competition. Although not all the questions were about these two books.

Thanks to Miss Kerr and Mrs Fleck who have been working with the all the pupils who put themselves forward to take part and accompanying our fantastic team this morning.
