Task 2 – Amending a recipe – Complete the amending recipe task 5.

Task 3 – Cuts of Vegetables- Use the vegetable cutting sheet to demonstrate the 4 different cuts of vegetables (batons, matchsticks, cubes & fine dice).

Task 4 – Make Carrot & Coriander Soup – Make the carrot and coriander soup following the recipe sheet and using the ingredients provided in your practical pack. Remember to complete your vegetable cuts first and take a photo to submit to your teacher.

S4 Health & Food Technology

Task 1 – Pupils prepare for coursework assessment task.

Task 2 – Live lesson has been scheduled. Tuesday p6-7 on teams.

Task 3 – (optional)- Why not get busy in the kitchen? If you have the ingredients why not try one of the recipes from ‘The good skills level 3’ cookbook or ‘The Taylor High Lockdown Cookbook’. Remember to tweet your makes/ bakes to @HWBTaylorHigh

Task 1 – Read through the PPT and complete the worksheet, for categories of cake.
