We are delighted to announce that our S3 team lifted the trophy for the Lord Lieutenancy of Lanarkshire’s Public Speaking Competition, beating teams from Airdrie Academy, Cathkin High School and Duncanrig High School.
The team comprised of S3 pupils Anna Lafferty, Carah Higgins and Thomas Lafferty as speakers with Daniel Clark and Jack Hattie questioning the team from Duncanrig.
The Lord Lieutenant, Lady Susan Haughey was effusive in her praise for our students and their performance.
