This week, groups of our S2 and S3 pupils had the opportunity to take part in Speak Up Scotland debating workshops, hosted by Young Speakers Scotland. These sessions provided pupils with skills in public speaking, critical thinking and structured argumentation.
With expert guidance from Jordan, pupils explored the fundamentals of debate, built confidence in expressing their viewpoints and sharpened their ability to think on their feet.
We look forward to continuing to encourage our pupils to speak up, think critically and engage with the world around them!
