St. Patrick’s Primary School and Nursery Class values its close links with its parents and guardians. Parents are welcomed into the school to help the teachers, children and the management team whenever possible.
Parents’ evenings are held twice a year when parents are offered an appointment time to speak to the teacher.
Children will assist in completing a ‘Self Report’ in term three and a summative written report will provided on each child at the end of term 4.
Curriculum workshops and open evenings are arranged throughout the year to keep parents informed about teaching methods. Parents are encouraged to act as parent helpers in the school.
We are awaiting an upgrade to our assembly hall. When this has been completed we hope to offer learning assemblies which will be open to parents and more opportunities for the children to showcase their learning through regular ‘Learning Fayres’.
