May in P6,7
Primary 6,7 have had a busy term so far and the Primary 7 pupils are looking forward to their upcoming residential while also working hard to prepare for their Graduation ceremony!
Primary 6 recently had their first visit to Cardinal Newman High School. They enjoyed meeting their future teachers and having the opportunity to experience a morning in the life of a high school pupil. We are very proud of how well they represented St Gerard’s and we are looking forward to hearing more about their P7 visits next year.
We recently had the opportunity to work with various coaches and visitors during Health Week which was a great success. P6,7 had an amazing time taking part in football activities and Judo last week – have a look at our pictures below! They had lots of fun cycling and completing relaxing, mindfulness activities. Well done to all pupils for taking part in the Sports Day and cycling. At St Gerard’s we are always working hard to remain active and mindful of living a healthy lifestyle!
Our current topic is The Seven Wonders of The World and Primary 6/7 should be proud of their hard work and research on this. We are excited to build sustainable structures inspired by the Seven Wonders in STEM. The pupils may ask for some recycled materials from home in the coming weeks for this task! We will post pictures of our creations next month!
