April in P6,7

P6,7 have had a busy start to the term and we have a lot of exciting events ahead. P6 have been very excited about their first trip to Cardinal Newman High School as part of their transition and we look forward to sharing more news about this soon! Primary 7 are very excited about their upcoming residential trip next month and can’t wait to take part in new adventures and challenges there! We have started our new class topic on “The Seven Wonders of the World” and we are exploring STEM challenges inspired by amazing structures.

A huge well done to Madison who was the winner of our STEM week competition. Her task was to design a sustainable Outdoor Shelter that would help a hillwalker if they got stranded. Madison’s design was selected as the winner in the school by Lawlor Outdoors and she received a certificate and prize bundle! Congratulations, Madison!

P6,7 are very proud of all of their hard work for the school show and had a great time showcasing their two Disney songs (“Hakuna Matata” and “Summer Time”). We are very proud of the Primary 7 pupils who were shining stars on the stage in their last ever school show! Well done everyone!
