This term our taught writing focus has been on information report writing. We have practiced writing lots of reports on different topics – from America to dogs! We’ve had really rich conversations about fact and opinion and what kind of writing is appropriate for information reports. Here is a brilliant example of an information report.
We’ve been working really hard on identifying and using positive affirmations in P6/7 to help us with our confidence and self esteem. We love to share positivity with our friends as we learn and grow.
P6/7 were very excited to welcome Barry McConnochie to our class as we learned all about his time playing football/soccer in America. We’ve been learning all about America as part of our IDL topic this term and got the chance to listen to his experiences and ask our own questions about American soccer and what life is like living in America.
