Uniform at Saint David’s

 St David’s fully complies with the North Lanarkshire Council’s policy on uniforms, which states “all North Lanarkshire schools must have a dress code which encourages pupils to dress in a way which is appropriate to attendance at school. “

By tradition parents have strongly intimated that they wish their children to wear items of clothing which will identify their children as being pupils of St. David’s Primary. The official registered uniform for our school is:-

Our School Uniform consists of:

  • white shirt with school tie
  • black/grey trousers or skirt
  • black shoes
  • grey jumper, cardigan, slipover
  • cardigans/jumpers, fleeces and jackets bearing the school emblem are also available from the school office

Our P.E. Uniform consists of:

The P.E. uniform is designed to enable children to exercise and work comfortably

  • plain white T-shirt or polo shirt
  • blue/black shorts, leggings or plain jogging trousers (without brand names/advertising)
  • plain black gym shoes or bare feet (designer trainers are not the best when using apparatus)
