Primary 7 Residential Update – A Brilliant Day at Castle Semple!

Good evening everyone – and thank you for your patience!

Our Primary 7s have enjoyed another fantastic day on residential, with the boys and girls making the most of every moment.

After a good night’s sleep, the children were up bright and early for a hearty breakfast before heading off to Castle Semple Loch for an exciting day of water sports.

At Castle Semple, the children were able to take to the Loch on bellboats and sailboats, showing great teamwork, confidence and determination on the water. They also enjoyed exploring the surrounding paths and woodland on mountain bikes, taking in the scenery as they went. Although the weather was a little rainy and windy, this certainly didn’t our dampen spirits and we all had plenty of laughs along the way.

It has been lovely to see the children continuing to support one another, step outside their comfort zones and fully engage in each experience.

Later in the day, we returned to Inverclyde where everyone enjoyed some very tasty kebabs for dinner. Then, just as the sun decided to make an appearance, we headed out for a special treat at Nardini’s. The children loved their ice cream and the chance to enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset—a really memorable way to round off the day.

This evening, everyone is relaxing and soaking up the final night of residential fun with a Movie Night classic, High School Musical.

Tomorrow, we’ll be up bright and early once again for a fun morning of gymnastics before boarding the bus and heading home.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support—we’re looking forward to seeing you all soon!
