We are pleased to support our friends from Muirhouse Primary School who are continuing to campaign to make the streets around our two schools safer for everyone.
Here is a quick update on what they have been up to recently:
As part of their Junior Duke Award a group of children from Muirhouse Primary have been tackling an issue within their local community. They have chosen to focus on the parking within their school lane which regularly restricts access to vehicles on a daily basis. More importantly, vehicles parked in this lane restrict access to emergency vehicles which poses a great safety risk to the children and adults within the school. The children have designed digital posters which they have displayed in the lane and are kindly asking adults to refrain from parking in this area at all times during the school day.
Help us to make sure everyone’s rights are respected in our community.
Families can support St Brendan’s and Muirhouse Primaries by being thoughtful and refraining from parking on Barons Road and in the lane.
Thank you!
