Our Mini Vinnies group have decided to hold a backpack appeal to help children in developing countries such as Malawi. The aim of this appeal is to bring in school items that will help a child in their school life. We are asking if each class could support the appeal by bringing in an item which we will add to the backpacks. Check the list below to find out what each class is being asked to contribute.
- P1C/ P1S – pens
- P2- crayons and rulers
- P2/3- toothbrushes
- P3- bars of soap
- P4- pencil cases
- P4/5- towel or face cloth
- P5- toothpaste
- P6- plastic or metal spoon
- P6/7- notepads
- P7-plastic bowl or cup
- Whole School – old schoolbags/ drawstring bags/ clothes for school aged children/ shoes or sandals
