Fun with Pharaohs in Primary 3!

Recently in Primary 3, we have been carrying out lots of research on Ancient Egypt. Yesterday we had great fun writing reports about pharaohs and making our very own pharaoh masks! We cannot wait to display our work for all to see!

Hieroglyphics in Primary 3

We have continued our Ancient Egyptian topic by learning about hieroglyphics. We had so much fun gathering information through books, videos and PowerPoints. We also used hieroglyphics to write our own names. It was great fun!

P6b Update

This week we enjoyed learning and working on the skills needed to play Gaelic football.

We have also been rehearsing for our class assembly at the end of the week on Spain, where we were able to showcase our learning and we had a blast performing the songs and dances which we worked hard on over the past few weeks.

Viva España! 🇪🇸

Primary 1 have been busy again  this week. Have a look and see what we have been learning. Every day is busy and full of fun  activities. Sometimes we work on our own and sometimes we work together. Everyone always has to try their best for our class team!

Sharing our stories with our friends after writing time.

Giving our friends some feedback on their stories.

Making sure we can read what we write.

Learning a Street Dance with our friends.

Using different levels to create an interesting Street Dance.

Learning about Old and New toys.

Improving our number skills using Sumdog.

All logged on to Sumdog and working hard.

After listening to the Bible story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den, we made these scary lions.

Learning how to draw a fluffy textured bear.

Some colourful and fluffy teddy bears.

Using pastels was great fun when we created these fluffy teddy bears.

Topic Fun in Primary 3

We started our ‘Egyptians’ topic last week and we have been enjoying learning all about life in Ancient Egypt. On Thursday, we learned about the Nile River and how it was used in everyday life. We had great fun discussing our ideas and learning and we even made our own boats!

P6b Update

What a great start to the new term! We have been busy working away this week after our lovely Christmas break.

We have spent this week thinking about New Years resolutions for the year ahead.

In our learning, we have been revising for and completing our reading and maths assessments.

We also began our preparation for our Confirmation which will take place on the 19th of February. We will spend the next few weeks reflecting and preparing for this in class and at home with parents/guardians through the home sessions in our Confirmation family workbook. 🙏🏼✝️

P.1/2 update.

We have been so busy the past few weeks and are now looking forward to a well deserved break.

We all had an important part to play in our nativity show. All the staff and parents thought we were amazing and gave us a huge big clap! We were delighted with ourselves. Don’t we look fabulous?

Merry Christmas from all of us!

Primary 1 update.

It is now the end of term 2. We cannot believe this term has ended so quickly. Everyone has worked really hard and has learned so much. We are all looking forward to next term too but before that, we are going to enjoy our Christmas holidays.

Here are a few snaps from our week…

When ended our hard working term with a Movie day.

After looking at real Christmas trees in winter, we painted our own winter forest.

Our finished winter pictures. Aren’t they amazing?

Everyone got dressed up for our party.

We added winter colours to the sky to show the brightness of the moon.

All set for dancing.

Getting ready for the party games.

Can’t wait for he fun to begin.

This very special visitor loved our tree.

Who was the best dancer?

Santa has presents for everyone.
