Primary seven were given a treat today when Karen Glen came in to deliver Curriculo Solutions to them. The children were learning and discussing about skills and talents. We were thinking about what skills we all have and what skills may be needed for certain jobs. The children were asked to think about which skills they would like to further develop. Children explored body language and the skill of listening. This work will help these adults of the future, to explore possible careers that will suit their skills and talents.

What a busy end to the term we’ve had! Let us fill you in on some of our learning and school life this week…

We’ve been working hard to learn our new sounds this week. We love using our mini whiteboards to help us practise our words.

We enjoy playing ‘Higher Or Lower’ to help us with comparing numbers in numeracy.

Last, but not least, we had a fantastic time preparing for and performing in our ‘Welcome to the Sixties’ show. We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did!

Primary seven were absolutely amazing at the show last night and yesterday afternoon.  Along with the rest of the school they treated the audience to  fantastic singing and dancing perfomances.  I am very proud of you pr 7.  Well done!

As part of our topic research, the primary 7 pupils were asked to choose a 60s band, to find out all about them, listen to their songs and make a poster including all the information.

Pupils were then asked to present information to the rest of the class. The focus was eye contact, a clear voice and an interesting presentation style.  The pupils who spoke today had all these qualities and they WOWed the rest of the class with their information.
