Primary 2 have had an interesting and hard working week!

In maths we have been learning how numbers are made up by tens and units. We used lots of different materials to build the numbers and are becoming more confident. We even made our own Under the Sea tens and units jelly fish!

Here you can see some of our lovely art work. We have been learning about Under the Sea for our topic and we know a lot about sea horses. We did lots of research and wrote fact files about them.

Being friendly in school is very important and we read a story about some very friendly fish. We think we are very good friends in Primary 2!

Our tens and units skills are improving ad our teacher could not catch us out this week with even the trickiest numbers.

More fabulous Under the Sea art work here! After researching the life cycle of the sea turtle, we drew and painted our own terrific sea turtles.

We have been using the “ck”phoneme this week – look at this fantastic dictated sentence! So neat too!
