Good morning everyone! Today, you will have a chance to catch up with any tasks you missed or did not get finished. Just try your best and do what you can 🙂

LITERACY

1. Punctuation Focus – In the Literacy area of Glow there is a Punctuation Focus for today. Re-write the paragraph adding in all the punctuation. Look out for capital letters, full stops, commas, speech marks and question marks. The answers will be posted later today

2. Reading – All groups – You have a passage to read in the Literacy folder on Glow. Diamonds and Emeralds your story is ‘Indian in the Cupboard’. Rubies and Sapphires your story is ‘The Butterfly Lion.’ Complete the Comprehension Questions from yesterday. If you have finished them, write the next page of the story. You choose what happens next!

3. Choice Task – Choose one of the tasks from the grid below! Let me know which one you choose and how you get on with it.

NUMERACY

4. Mental Maths – Open the folder called ‘Mental Maths’ within the Numeracy section of our Glow page. Complete ‘Thursday’ of Mental Maths 30.03.20 Page 2.

5. Tables Skills – Practise your 11 and 12 times table to yourself. Write them down and write some division facts that you know from these times tables.

6. Complete any of the Maths Exercises you have still to finish this week. If you have completed them, choose a task from the Grid below. Let me know how you get on.

TOPIC

7. Coat of Arms – Open the Topic section on Glow and open the ‘William Wallace Shield Design’ PowerPoint. Read about Coats of Arms towards the end of the PowerPoint. Go to the last slide and look at your task. Design your own Coat of Arms. Send me a picture – I can’t wait to see your designs!
