Friday 3rd April

Good morning boys and girls. It is Friday again already, what a busy week! This is the last day of home learning activities before the holidays. Below are some power points on Easter. I hope you enjoy reading through them and try some of the activities.

Top Tips for during the holidays –

  • Stay Active
  • Get outside when you can
  • Help around the house
  • Use your imagination

Another idea is to use lollypop sticks or paper to write out some activities and if you do get bored you can choose one to do.

Remember to say your Morning and Night Prayers as well throughout the holidays. I will keep you and all your families in my daily prayers  too. I really look forward to seeing you all again. For now- enjoy your time with your families, have fun and keep making new memories together!

Happy Easter to you all! God Bless.

Thursday 2nd April

Good morning boys and girls!

I hope you had a good day at home yesterday and are ready to learn today.

It would be a good idea to start the day with a prayer to thank God for all we have and remember to keep those who are sick in our thoughts.

There are lots of activities on the grid you can still be using. After the holidays we will up-date the website with daily tasks. In the meantime here is a morning starter to get your brains working! Try to make as many words as you can.

If there is anything at all I can do to help you or your parents at home please get in touch through twitter, email or replying to this post.

Take care everyone!

Wednesday 1st April

Good morning Primary 5/4!

I hope you are having a good week. I want to say a big thank you to the boys and girls who have been emailing & tweeting us pictures. (A bigger thank you to the parents for helping them!) It is so lovely to see what you have been doing at home. It really does make all the teachers smile.

Mrs Grant and I log into Sumdog, First News and Study ladder everyday and can see who is working really hard so keep up the good work!

Today is April Fools’ Day so below is a link to some information about what different countries around the world do to celebrate.

Today I am going to make a nice healthy lunch for my family.

Take care,

Friday 27th March Primary 5/4

Good morning boys and girls. It is Friday which means GOLDEN TIME! If you work hard throughout the day take some time off this afternoon to have a play.

Things have been very different for everyone this week and it might be like this for a while. You could start a diary or write a letter to your friends if you are missing them to tell them about all the fun you are having at home.

Tonight is movie night in my house and we are watching Toy Story 4!

Have a lovely weekend.

Thursday 26th March P5/4

Good morning boys and girls!

I hope everyone had a good sleep and is ready to learn! Please keep using the grid for activities to keep your brains active. I could see lots of good work on Sumdog yesterday. Just remember it is important to take breaks, just like we do in school.

I am missing you all and it would be lovely to see your smiling faces so please feel free to post on twitter or send me an email with pictures or just to tell me how you are doing.

I enjoyed reading Blubbering Bertha yesterday and today I am looking forward to joining the Joe Wicks Workout so I can have a treat tonight!

Have a great day,

Mrs McGill

Wednesday 25th March

Good morning boys and girls. I hope you and your family are well. Remember, if you can, start your day with a prayer and thank God for all your family and friends.

As today is the feast of the Annunciation it might also be a good idea to say a Hail Mary. This feast celebrates the day the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and asked her to be the Mother of Jesus.

Keep working through the grid that you recieved last week as it is packed with lots of fun activities.

Today I will be reading David Wallims – The World’s Worst Children – Bertha The Blubberer.

Have a great day,

Mrs McGill
