Friday 27th – Primary 1a

Good morning boys and girls. Happy Friday!

Since today was meant to be your assembly, why not sing one of your songs to your family.  We didn’t have much practise but you were so good at singing and picked up the songs very quickly.  You could sing “Spring is here”, “Spring Chicken” or “If I were a butterfly.” All of the music is available on YouTube.

Remember to work through the activities on your grid.  It has been great seeing pictures of you on Twitter.  If you have not already made a rainbow for your window you could paint or draw one.

It is important to have fun when you are learning  – let’s see who can make the best den, big or small, it doesn’t matter. You could choose your favourite story and read it inside. This is all about the creativity. Post a picture on Twitter or you can send them to me – MCMacLeod@st-barbaras.n-lanark.sch.uk.

Here is a picture of your caterpillars. They are growing very quickly and will soon be forming cocoons. I will keep you updated on their progress.

Good morning Primary 1a :)

Good morning Primary 1a, I hope you had a good day yesterday.  Please practise all of your sounds today, you can sing along to your Jolly Phonics songs on YouTube. Read through your common words with someone in your family.

Remember to login to your Sumdog account and play some games.  It keeps your brain active and can be lots of fun!

As today is your PE day why not try a workout with Joe Wicks or Jumpstart Jonny you will find both of these on YouTube.

I would love to see some pictures of you, completing one of your grid tasks, on Twitter.  Have fun today and keep smiling!

Good morning boys and girls, I hope that you have been working on your grids and also having fun.  I have been looking after your caterpillars and they are getting very big.  I’m sorry that you didn’t get to watch them grow. I’ll post some pictures on Twitter for you to see. Here is a simple and fun finger painting activity that you might like to try at home.
